We start our last class together with a body scan; returning back to the mindfulness practice that started our 8 week journey together.
We spend time reviewing all we have accomplished and focusing on a variety of ways to support our daily mindfulness practice. We take time writing down things that are now, in this moment, important to us. Things that we are grateful for because of having participated in the course.
Then each participant is invited to share what has transpired for them over the course of the 8 weeks. All comments are welcome in the space held. This is a time for honesty. Thoughts about the program. Thoughts about the teacher. Suggestions. Acknowledgment.
We do another mindfulness practice.
We unmute ourselves.
We say goodbye.
This is it.
